HTML carrots

simple silly entry, but these seem to be in frequent use these days so I need to just be able to grab 'em in a post

»

also, inject them via CSS, or remove them since they're pesky in Wordpress:

.entry ul li:before, #sidebar ul ul li:before {
/*
content: "\00BB \0020";
*/
}

then interpret/use as you will in your script...

HTML Server side include

from:
http://www.boutell.com/newfaq/creating/include.html

include virtual and include file do almost the same thing.

The difference is that include virtual takes a URL-style path.

include virtual can also execute CGI programs, if your web server supports that, and include their output.

include file takes a file-system path, and cannot execute CGI programs.

Both accept relative paths, so they often work the same.

example:

<!--#include virtual="insertthisfile.html" -->
